Amalia Kussner was the famed miniature portrait artist of the Gilded Age from the 1890s through the early 1900’s. She was born into the well-known Kussner family and lived most of her younger years in Terre Haute.
Author and historian, Kathleen Langone will share some of her research on the artist, her fascinating life as well as show many images of her portraits, including those at the Swope Art Museum. This is a FREE event and all are welcome.
